“Many Survivors are recruited into “the life” at an early age. Our prevention work includes identifying what recruitment looks like as well as working with youth to figure out how to meet their needs and reduce vulnerabilities. Many of the youth we work with are involved with systems that are not meeting their specific needs. Working alongside youth, we help them navigate these systems and support them in building skills to help them advocate for themselves.”
